Share mailboxes and set team permissions

Give teammates the access they need without sharing passwords.

In this guide

Share a mailbox

  1. From the owner account, open Control Panel → Team. Team access requires an eligible subscription.
  2. Choose a mailbox you own and enter the email of an existing Rasel Mail account.
  3. Choose an access level and review Trash and Create aliases as separate permissions.
  4. Save the grant. The teammate signs in with their own account and opens the shared mailbox.

What each permission allows

PermissionAllows
Read onlyRead messages and their attachments in the shared mailbox.
Read, send, reply and forwardRead access plus sending from the mailbox.
Manage messagesOrganize and archive mail; review the other permissions separately.
Move to TrashExplicitly allow the Trash action.
Create aliasesCreate aliases delivering into the shared mailbox within account limits.

Change or revoke access

Update permissions in the same list, or revoke the mailbox grant. Sharing does not transfer mailbox ownership or grant billing and sending-key administration. If an action remains missing after a change, ask the teammate to reload and check the selected mailbox.
