Send, reply and forward
Choose the correct sender, recipients and mailbox.
Editorial update: October 30, 2026In this guide
Compose a message
- Open the intended mailbox and choose New message. Check the sender, particularly when you have multiple mailboxes or aliases.
- Enter the recipient, subject and body. Use CC for a visible copy and BCC for a copy hidden from the other recipients.
- Attach the files you need and wait for them to finish preparing before sending.
- Choose Send once and watch the result. If the outcome is uncertain, check Sent before submitting another copy.
Reply or forward?
| Action | Use it when |
|---|---|
| Reply | Continue the exchange with the sender while retaining reply linkage. |
| Forward | Share the contents with somebody else; review sensitive details and attachments first. |
When replying, review the actual recipient. Adding Re: to a new message subject does not automatically make it part of the original conversation.
If sending is unavailable
- Check your sending permission for a shared mailbox. Read-only access does not permit replies.
- Check domain readiness, sending limits and mailbox status.
- Website email has its own API and quota; it is separate from ordinary mailbox sending.
